When asked what they like most about living in Egan Park, here’s what a few EPNA neighbors had to say:

“It’s the first time I’ve felt at home since I left home 24 years ago.”
Marion Harkin

“I love my neighbors! That is what makes our neighborhood so special.”
Angela Rogers

“Love the neighbors. And the neighborhood association!”
Paul Lawler

“Location, location, location. I picked EP to move into because I work in downtown near the Peachtree MARTA center and I wanted to take the train to work. EP was perfect for that. It is 5 minutes from the station. Nice and close to both 85 and 75 and a hop, skip and a jump from the airport (and yet the noise isn’t that bad 90% of the time).

I also love the style of the homes in the area (I love that historic feel) and the fact that you can tell EP is on the upswing. I love that this is an organic neighborhood and not a development.

Close to ATL, but not in ATL… so no ATL taxes. I like East Point too. The utilities here are low (in my opinion) and the town has a small town feel to it, but is so close to the city.

I also like that East Point is racially diverse and also very gay friendly. Having lived in small town southwest GA for 11 years, I wanted to be some place I could be myself and EP (both of them) allow that without having to be in midtown or Decatur, both of which I can’t afford.”
